University of Winneba (UEW) has a well-structured grading system that assists them in grading their students for the best academic work.
Grades obtained in courses throughout your study at the university will determine the class you will graduate with. The grading system has Third Class as the lowest class and First Class highest in the tertiary system.
Two (2) terms are involved in the grading system namely: Grade Point Average (GPA) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
The Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is the final summary of GPA over the semesters/academic cumulatively ( which means in addition).
