President Akuffo Addo Dankwa Approves to have a State Burial for the legendary musician, Nana Kwame Ampadu

After the forty days celebration in honour of the late legendary and father of the high-life musical genre, Nana Kwame Ampadu, there became several contemplations as to whether there should be a state burial for the late Nana Kwame Ampadu since he deserves such befitting interment because as many Ghanaians know, The veteran musician who died at age 78 has contributed a lot to the music sphere especially with his artistically high life songs he has produced on records. It is known for fact that he had over 800 songs which are all relevant to date with some connections to every aspect of humans’ lives. The requisitions of some media houses, other stakeholders, family members and the general public to have a state burial for the late, Nana Ampadu has reached to the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo and the President has set to make a befitting burial for Nana Ampadu to honor his great and enormous works through music and their impacts on the people in Africa especially Ghanaians.
The Director of Communication at the Presidency, Mr Eugene Arhin brought about this at press briefing at the Jubilee House today, Thursday, in the morning.
